Embli Solutions Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.
| Emissions | Total (tCO2e) |
|---|---|
| Scope 1 | 0.802 tCO2e (6,002.08 miles across 3 company vehicles, actual per-vehicle mileage: 348 miles, 2,447.08 miles electric at 0.04749 kg CO2e per mile, and 3,207 miles hybrid at 0.20857 kg CO2e per mile, 2026 Government conversion factors) |
| Scope 2 | 0 tCO2e (not applicable: remote/virtual working model, no occupied office premises) |
| Scope 3 (included sources) | 0.938 tCO2e: 0.789 tCO2e from business travel (2,955 miles at 0.26699 kg CO2e per mile, 2026 Government factor) plus 0.149 tCO2e from GBP 665.50 of UK freight/courier spend (10 supplier quote lines), using DEFRA's 2023 spend-based multiplier for "Postal and courier services" (0.224 kg CO2e per GBP spent) |
| Total emissions | 1.740 tCO2e (Scope 1: 0.802, Scope 2: 0, Scope 3: 0.938) |

In order to continue its progress to achieving Net Zero, Embli has adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
Embli projects that total carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to approximately 1.220 tCO2e by 2031. This is a reduction of around 30% against Embli's 2025/26 baseline of 1.740 tCO2e, to be achieved primarily by replacing its hybrid company vehicle, currently the highest-mileage vehicle in the fleet at 3,207 miles, with a fully electric vehicle, completing the transition of Embli's company fleet to 100% electric, alongside continuing to minimise business travel and consolidate freight and courier movements.
Carbon Reduction: Baseline to Target
Figure 1: Projected total emissions, baseline (2026) to target (2031), tCO2e
Embli operates a remote/virtual working model rather than maintaining a dedicated occupied office, which avoids the Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions a traditional office premises would generate.
Over the next five years, Embli plans to complete the transition of its company vehicle fleet to 100% electric by replacing its remaining hybrid vehicle, and will continue to minimise business travel and consolidate freight and courier movements to reduce Scope 3 emissions further. This includes consolidating freight into single-site deliveries where possible, rather than split deliveries, and introducing data centre emissions monitoring linked to the networks used on project rollouts.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard, and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
